Frequently ask questions

I did a mistake in my order. What can I do?

If you did a mistake in the personal informations you give to us in your order, you have 24 hours to tell us. After this delay, it will be impossible for us to cancel the order. If there’s a mistake in the shipping address, we can try to find it and give you the details so you can enter personal representations to recover.

Is it possible to return my toothbrush?

Since this is a personal care product, no returns are accepted. If the product is damaged upon receipt by the customer agreement can be reached between the customer and OLA Bamboo through the customer service. However, OLA Bamboo does not undertake to enter into an agreement.

Can I track my order?

When ordering, the customer can choose the option to track the shipment of purchases via Canada Post mail service (Express shipping). Only if the customer has agreed to pay any additional fees to get a tracking number of the package, Permafridge provide you, by email, a tracking number upon shipment of the goods. By clicking on the tracking number, you head automatically to the Canada Post website. This then tells you where your order is made. You can also see track your delivery, by signing the tracking number provided at the following link: www.canadapost.ca. For all other commands (free shipping and standard shipping), products will be shipped by regular service from Canada Post, so without tracking number.

Do the OLA Bamboo toothbrush is 100% compostable?

The handle of our toothbrush is 100% compostable, however, the bristles are not. Currently, the only toothbrushes 100% compostable are made of bamboo and the bristles are made of pig hair. These toothbrushes require slaughter pig whose hairs are removed and processed into bristle toothbrushes. In short, who really wants to brush their teeth with pig hair ???? We are working to develop a 100% compostable toothbrush made from plant material.

How can I dispose of my toothbrush?

Since the handle is 100% compostable, less than separate the two materials, it is suggested to throw your OLA Bamboo toothbrush with waste. This toothbrush doesn’t pretend to be perfect, but closer to perfection than most toothbrushes. Even if you throw your OLA Bamboo toothbrush in the trash, the handle will compost in the dumping ground. This is still much better than the plastic that pollutes for over 500 years.

Why OLA Bamboo toothbrushes are good for the environment?

Each year there’s are about 4 billion plastic toothbrushes that ends up in dumping ground and different natural environments on the planet. The plastic used to make toothbrushes takes about 500 years before degrading. Although the plastic degrades, its chemical composition remains intact and the entire plastic substance remains in the environment for centuries. Bamboo is the main material used in the manufacture of OLA Bamboo toothbrush. This 100% natural and 100% compostable plant replaces plastic. Since bamboo is a tree, it decomposes naturally in the environment. When you have an OLA Bamboo toothbrush, you help eliminate unnecessary plastic in the environment.
